My discovery of photobucket and BATHROOM pictures!

Yes! Finally! I'm learning how to use photobucket! NOW I can post my life! :)

So excited to show you our new bathroom. It's funny cause people will ask me how the bathroom is and I'll be thinking, oh yeah, our bathroom. I've forgotten about it cause we haven't done anything since summer started! And I can't wait to share our summer too! It's been a fun one and WAY to short. Bummer.. I'm also finished with my class! WaHOO! And now I have reapplied for my teaching certificate and will be receiving it soon and not thinking about it again for ANOTHER 5 Years! Happy day! See how much I can get done when I take a few months off of blogging?!??!

And now on to the bathroom.....

which is not completely finished.....

and probably won't be until school starts.....

but I can use it and that makes me happy.

Down to the studs.

old vanity with one tiny little sink and lots of counter space.

new vanity with linen cabinet, laundry pull outs, and double sinks!
(To be done: framed mirror (this is just an old one propped up for now), outlet in the linen cabinet, towel racks)

Same doorway into the closet. Just pushed back 6" or so.
We really wanted the bathroom closed off so we added a doorway.

And look at all that storage!!! but don't look at what I'm storing. and built in laundry baskets! and don't look at my dirty clothes. :)

Old shower. It was in a separate room with the toilet. Closet door in the middle. Do you see my tiny sink?

New! Same angle. the shower is now where that towel rack is. we knocked that wall down and moved it out. and built a wall in the opening of the old shower. Now we have a separate shower and toilet.

Tile in old shower and beautiful holly & ivy wallpaper in toilet room.

And my favorite part of the new bathroom!!:

A shower big enough to move in! I am loving it.

And the closet, which still has some work to be done!

Build ins!! It will be so nice when finished!

To be done: a door on the toilet room would be nice. and one into the bathroom. shelves above the toilet. Closet shelves built, drawers made, rods hung, carpet laid, trim done & painted, and clothes put in. I really am hoping we are done by the end of this year!

And just a peek at what the vanity looked like when we moved in. I quickly gel stained it and added new hardware. The gel paint worked great!

UPDATE!!!! Closet is finished!!

and we have a door to the toilet! :)
