Hawaii trip

Here's our trip in a nutshell:

Starting off the trip right.

We stayed right on Waikiki. Here's us with Diamond Head in the background.

That's one looooooooooooooong drive.

Climbed to the top of Diamond Head.

 Manoa falls trail. SO cool! Imagine hiking through the rain forest with lots of bugs and mud. :) No, it really was cool. A lot different then our regular sagebrush and dirt.

 Went Snorkeling at Hanama Bay.

  um... picture for the kids.

 

Walk down Waikiki at night. (This seriously was such a romantic walk with colorful lights on the palm trees and music coming from all the different restaurants.)

Pearl Harbor.

And of course, the Pineapple Express Train. WHAT?! You went to Hawaii and didn't ride the Pineapple Express Train??? Totally missed out! :)

Barely made it to the temple open house. Started the day we left! 

And one last sunset at the beach before hoping onto the plane.

And.....

it's been so long you probably thought I just stayed in Hawaii. Right now, I wished that I did. Although, that island got really little surprisingly fast. I just miss the carefree days, no whining children, no responsibility, and that beautiful thing we call sun. My house has not been at its cleanest lately and my children have been naughtily disobedient. Meaning they disobey with a smile on their face and an evil laugh escaping from their lips. They know I'm too lazy to do anything about it. And that pretty much sums up the last 2 weeks since I've been home. Nice. Welcome home mommy!
