I don't remember the last time Addi fell asleep during the day. She gave up on naps a long time ago. But she will do anything to be with her grandpa.....

Emmalee's special day

Emmalee was baptized & confirmed this last weekend. She was beyond excited for this day! Jerek & I took her to dinner the night before to celebrate. On Saturday we played all day with grandparents and when we came home, to our WONDERFUL surprise, my sister and her family were in our garage!! Having her cousins here was the icing on the cake for Em! We had some family and friends that were able to come and we are so grateful to them. It was such a fun family filled weekend! On Sunday night, Emmalee came into our room, gave Jerek a big hug, and said,"Thanks dad, for baptizing me!"

It was indeed a very special day.

 Birthday present. Played with for 5 minutes and said, "I don't like this dolly mom. I don't want it." Dragged it around by the hair for a few hours. Big sister said she wanted it and now Addi loves it.

The pop bottle win

We had a carnival at our school a couple of weeks ago. Each class had a dance to perform. Blake's class danced to a '50's song. He kept his hands in his pockets the whole time! And Emmalee decided not to do it. She said she was too shy. (huh.....)

 They also did a pop walk, where you walk around the numbers and when the music stops, you hope that they call out your number. Both the kids won a well decorated soda bottle. Emmalee's has stuffed animals on it. And Blake's was covered by a sheet, with a ton of candy hidden under it. SCORE! He was really, really excited.
