Going to the temple and we're...gonna get married..

Right after Christmas we headed to Utah for Brady & Ruth's Wedding. (Brady is the baby of Jerek's family. He was 11 when Jerek and I married so he's pretty much my baby brother too.) We all got to stay together in a rental house. It was so nice to all finally be together. The best part though is all being together in the temple. The wedding was beautiful with one of the best sealings I've been too. There was also a reception that night. And to my children's delight, there was lots of dancing. And a chocolate fountain with cups right next to it. Yeah, my kids did fill those cups and just drank from them. Awesome.

So to be honest, I was NOT looking forward to this trip. Not because of family or anything, I just HATE to travel to Utah in the winter time. Probably because of horrible memories from growing up. Or something like that. But I was sick to my stomach the days following up to this trip. I'm happy to say we made it safely with no harm or accident but we did have a little scare. Between Twin and Burley, the fog came in and it started to snow. It only lasted a few minutes but it was long enough to create a 17-car crash in front of us. Most of the vehicles involved were semis and luckily no one got hurt. We waited an hour and more for stand still traffic to start moving. And then we were diverted off the freeway and back on again and finally made it to Burley after 2hrs. I took some pictures since we were sitting there.
