letters

My sister-in-law is very crafty and made some letters for different holidays/seasons. I wanted to do one for Emmalee's name to hang on her wall in her room. I was going to just paint it, but wanted to try something new. I just cut out paper, mod podged it on, and added embellishments. I think it turned out so cute! Yeah, I can be crafty too!

 

Easter weekend

What an awesome, busy weekend! My sister came up with her family and also my parents. It was so fun to have everyone here. We did a lot of fun activities. Lazer tag. It was so FUN!! Emma and Caden ready to rock. Blake looks like he has done this before. My HOT fishing buddy. We went steelhead fishing all day Saturday. It was AWESOME!!! Emmalee getting an award at school. Playing at the park. Here's Trey. . . And Lincoln. . . . . And Harrison. . . . And Emmalee. . . . . And Caden. . . .. And Blake. . . . And Addi.  

She has discovered how much fun a swing can be!

dress

I made a little dress out of a handkerchief for Addilyn. I found a blog that has really cute, easy to make dresses. Although I think I'm only going to venture out on this one. I'll have to wait until my sister-in-law can help me this summer. It only took me 20 minutes to make this one! Go me!  

Of course, Lincoln (cousin) had to try it on too.

Here's the long awaiting picture of the finished puppet project. I had to take this picture at the school since it is still on display. (Right when you walk in. How cool is that?) You can't see the sticks that move the puppet but she's all there! Good job Emmalee!

 

18 months!!!

My baby is getting too big!! Although, Jerek and I have been looking forward to this milestone for some time. Wow, we'll get to listen to Sunday school. (And so will everyone else around us.) We love you Addilyn! You're such a sweet baby.

We made it outside today after conference. It was so nice, and should be getting nicer! On your mark, get set, GO!

Finishing up March

I am SOSOSOSO ready for SPRING!! Please come!!! Here's our pictures of our trip to Utah. It was great and the kids traveled so well! Yeah! Blake finally gets to play with the boys! A little sword fighting with the cousins. Addi liked to get in on that action too. Didn't get her in the pictures though.
